Construction Debris Removal in East Point

Your remodel is done or the storm repairs are underway, and now the driveway is full of torn-out drywall, old cabinets and roofing scraps. We load it, haul it and sweep up after. If an insurance claim is involved, we photograph the debris before it leaves.

When a pile of debris becomes our job

Construction debris is the heavy, awkward leftover from work on your home: framing lumber, drywall, flooring, tile, shingles, old fixtures and the occasional chunk of concrete. Most curbside trash service will not take it, and a pickup truck fills up in two trips. We bring a truck and a crew sized for the pile and take it all in one visit when we can.

A lot of our calls come after a storm, when a fallen limb or a leak has forced repairs. That debris can matter to your claim. We take dated photos of what we remove and give you a written list of the materials so your adjuster has something clear to look at. We do not decide coverage or talk to your insurer for you. We simply help you keep a good record.

What we haul and how we handle it

Remodel tear-out

Drywall, plaster, cabinets, countertops, old tubs, vanities, carpet and pad. We carry it out from inside your home or pick it up where your contractor stacked it.

Roofing and siding scraps

Shingles and siding pieces are heavy and full of nails. We load them carefully, then run a magnet sweep over the driveway and yard where they sat.

Lumber, decking and fencing

Old deck boards, fence panels and framing lumber go on the truck, nails and all. If you want to keep some boards for a project, just tell us and we will set them aside.

Concrete, brick and tile

Broken patio slabs, pavers, brick and tile are dense, so we plan the load around weight as well as space. We will tell you on the estimate if a big job needs a second trip.

Photos and a written list

Before anything is loaded, we photograph the piles in place and note the main materials. You get those photos and the list to keep with your repair paperwork.

Signs it is time to call for a debris haul

Your contractor did not include haul-off
Plenty of remodel bids leave cleanup to the homeowner. If the crew packed up and left the scraps behind, we can clear them in one visit.
Storm damage left wet, broken materials
Soaked drywall and insulation start to smell and can grow mold within days. Spring and summer storms around here make this a common call, and getting it out quickly keeps the rest of your home drier.
The driveway or yard is blocked
When you cannot park, mow or let the kids play outside, the pile has stayed too long.
You need a record before it is gone
If an adjuster has not seen the damage yet, ask them first whether they want to inspect it. Once they are fine with removal, we photograph and list it before hauling.
Nails and sharp edges are everywhere
Loose roofing nails and broken tile are a hazard for bare feet, pets and tires. A proper pickup and sweep fixes that.

What happens on a debris pickup

  1. 1

    It begins with a call

Describe the project and about how large the pile is. Often we can quote a price range on the phone or book a free on-site estimate.

  2. 2

We look and quote up front

We check how much there is, how heavy it is and how far it has to be carried. Before work begins you get upfront pricing with no hidden fees.

  3. 3

    Record it, then load it

On pickup day we photograph the debris in place and note what it contains. Then the crew loads it all, staying clear of your siding, plants and the cars in the driveway.

  4. 4

Clean up and pass along records

We rake and sweep the spot, run a magnet to catch nails, and send you the photos and list of materials. Lumber and metal in good enough condition go to recycling or donation.

What goes into the price of debris removal

Debris pricing comes down mainly to how much truck space it takes and how much it weighs. We explain the number before anything is loaded, and what we quote is what you pay. Same-day and next-day service available.

Size of the pile
The more truck your debris takes up, the higher the cost. Tearing out one bathroom is a far smaller job than a full kitchen plus new floors.
How heavy the materials are
For the same space, shingles, tile, plaster and concrete are much heavier than drywall or carpet, and disposal fees go by weight.
Where the pile is
A tidy stack by the curb loads quickly. Debris in a back bedroom, a basement or behind a fence means more time carrying.
Items that need other handling
Things like liquid paint or materials that might contain asbestos can't go in a standard load. Your estimate will spell out what we can haul and what has to go another way.

Construction debris questions

Will you help with my claim after storm damage?
We can help record what we take. Before loading, we photograph the debris with dates and give you a written list of materials. We aren't adjusters and can't speak to your coverage. Ask your adjuster before we haul anything, since they may want to see it first.
Do you pick up debris from a project I did on my own?
Yes. Weekend jobs leave plenty behind too, from torn-up flooring to an old vanity. Piling it in one place speeds things up, but we'll also collect it from around your home and yard.
Should I be home for the pickup?
It's helpful to be there for the estimate so we can go over the pile together. For the pickup, lots of customers leave the debris outside and let us work while they're out. We send the photos once we're done.
Who works near my home and vehicles?
Our own crew, from a licensed and insured company enrolled in E-Verify. That counts on a job with heavy loads, sharp edges and work near your siding, windows and cars. Before loading, the crew walks the area with you so everyone agrees on what stays and what goes.
How can I be sure the job will be done right?
Customers in East Point and nearby towns such as College Park and Hapeville have left us over 1,200 Google reviews. Look through some, then have us come out and price your pile in person.
